Many of you may not know this, but our Principal, Karen Bromley, set about founding a charity over 30 years ago known as K.I.D.S. (Kids In Distressed Situations).  Now, 3 decades later, the charity, now known as Delivering Good, following a merge with other fashion based charity Fashion Delivers, is coming close to reaching it’s $2.0 billion mark in product & money raised, all delivered to those in need following disasters, poverty or special needs situations.  On Wednesday, June 12th, the 13th Annual Women of Inspiration Luncheon was held at the Pierre Hotel here in New York City.

This year was extra special as it marked Karen’s last as Luncheon Co-Chair (2nd from the right in photo), as she is transitioning to a new focus on the Board of Directors & other tasks that lay ahead.  Regardless… the luncheon is in great hands for the future as Karen’s Co-Chair, Carole Postal (far right in image) is taking over… she’s looking for a Co-Chair… let us know if you’re interested!  Also in photo (l to r):  Lisa Gurwitch, CEO of Delivering Good, Andrea Weiss, The O Alliance & President of Delivering Good, Model Jinji Nicole, Karen Bromley, Carole Postal).  Honorees for this year’s luncheon were:  Lece Lohr, President of Justice, Maria Montaño, President & CEO of Gerber Childrenswear, LLC, Edyth Bush Charitable Foundation. The event was keynoted by Jennifer Dulski, best-selling Author of “Purposeful: Are You a Manager or a Movement Starter?” & was hosted by Thomas P. Farley, aka “Mister Manners”.

Oh… by the way… the luncheon raised over $425,000.00!

LET’S TALK.
